One Piece Clip-in extensions are a popular and convenient method of adding length and volume to your natural hair. Unlike traditional Human Hair Clip-in sets, which consist of multiple human hair pieces, One Piece Clip-ins are designed to be worn as a single piece that easily clips into your hair. This makes them incredibly easy to install and remove, making them ideal for those new to hair extensions or simply looking for a quick and temporary look update. One Piece Extensions can be made from real hair or synthetic fibres. Stranded One Piece extensions are made from a Clever Fibre-which is our unique fibre designed to imitate the natural look and feel of real hair.

Fitting the One Piece Hair Extensions
Preparation before fitting a One Piece Extension
Make sure that your natural hair is clean and dry. It's best to wash and condition your hair the day before fitting to ensure it is free from any excess oils or product build-up
Step 1: Prepare Your Hair
Before fitting the clip-in extension, make sure your hair is clean, dry, and free from any tangles or knots. Use a tail comb to create a horizontal parting at the back of your head from ear to ear. Clip the rest of your hair up and out of the way.
Step 2 : Open up all the clips
Step 3: Position the One Piece Extension
Starting from the centre, secure it to your natural hair, as close to the root as possible. Snap the clip shut, making sure it is tight enough to hold the extension in place, but not too tight to cause discomfort. If you have chosen to add more than one clip-in, repeat the above steps until each piece has been attached, with roughly an inch between each one.
Step 4: Blend and Style
Once the extension is securely clipped in, un-clip the top section of your hair and gently brush through all of the hair to blend the extensions.Using clip-in, One Piece extensions is a great way of adding volume and style to your look, and by following these simple steps they can be easy to attach too.
TOP TIP: To ensure the perfect hold, don't forget to tease a small section of hair before attaching the clips of your fabulous One Piece extension. This nifty trick will keep those clips locked in place, guaranteeing a flawless look!

Making Your One Piece Work In Hair Type: Short or Thin Hair
Working with short or thin hair can present some challenges when fitting a One Piece Clip-in extension, but with the right techniques, you can achieve a seamless and natural look.
If your hair is short and thin, I'd suggest choosing the 16" length One Piece for a more believable-looking result., I'd also recommend positioning the One Piece slightly lower to ensure you have enough hair to cover the seam of the extension.
Making Your One Piece Extension Work In Hair Type: Thick or Blunt Hair
Working with thick hair when fitting a one-piece clip-in extension requires some additional steps to ensure a secure and seamless blend.
Here's a quick tip to help you achieve the perfect fit: For thick, bluntly cut hair you may need to conceal some of your blunt ends which may peep through. I'd suggest pinning up a small section of your hair at the nape of the neck to reduce the thickness of your hair and create a more natural-looking blend.
For thick hair, we sometimes recommend an additional one piece to be fitted to create a seamless blend.
Heated Styling Tools for One Piece Extensions
When it comes to One Piece Clip in hair extensions, heated styling tools can be a game-changer. They allow you to effortlessly blend your extensions with your natural hair, create stunning hairstyles, and achieve the desired look with ease.
Curly & Wand Wave Styles
You will need a curler or wand to use on your own natural hair to match the style of the one piece. We don't recommend using straighteners on the One Piece Curly as it will be hard to recreate the original style once straightened. You can maintain the style of the Curly One Piece with heated tongs.
Flicky Style
If your hair finishes at the same length as the extension you may need to use a heated tool to create flicks in your own hair. If your hair finishes shorter before the flicks on the extensions your hair will blend in perfectly.
Straight Style
The Straight One Piece can be straightened with straighteners at a maximum temperature of 180 degrees.
How to Remove a One Piece Clip In Extension
Follow these steps to ensure a smooth removal process without causing any damage to your natural hair.
- Prep: Make sure your hair is dry and gently detangled to prevent any unnecessary pulling or tugging. It's also recommended to have a tail comb or a similar tool handy for assistance during the removal process.
- Locate the clips: Identify the location of the extension clips by feeling for them underneath your hair.
- Release the clips: Use your thumb and index finger to gently press and release the clips. Do this for each clip in a slow and controlled manner to avoid any hair breakage.
- Slide out the extension: Once the clips are released, carefully slide the extension out from underneath your natural hair. Take your time and be gentle to prevent any tangling or knotting.
- Detangle: After removing the extension, thoroughly comb through your hair to remove any tangles that may have occurred during the removal process.
By following these steps and taking necessary precautions, you can safely remove a One Piece Clip-in extension without causing any damage to your natural hair. Remember to be gentle and patient throughout the entire process.
Aftercare Tips for Maintaining Healthy Locks
To ensure your One Piece Clip-in hair extensions stay healthy and last longer, it is essential to follow a proper aftercare routine. Here are some tips for maintaining healthy locks after fitting One Piece Clip-in extensions:
Brushing Techniques:
Use a wide-toothed comb or a tail comb to gently detangle your extensions from ends to roots. Start at the ends and work your way up to avoid damaging the hair.
Washing and Conditioning:
When washing avoid scrubbing the hair with shampoo, this could cause excessive tangling, instead gently massage the shampoo in.
Frequency of Washing:
Wash your One Piece Clip-in extensions every 8-10 wears, or as needed. Overwashing can lead to dryness and damage and the piece to become tangled.
Nightime care:
