How to fit Medium Wand Wave Ponytail

How to fit Medium Wand Wave Ponytail

The Medium Wand Wave Ponytail can be fitted using either the claw-clip or drawstring attachment.

Claw-clip attachment

  1. Put your hair into a ponytail.
  2. Squeeze open the claw-clip and place it over your ponytail.

Drawstring attachment

  1. To remove the claw-clip, loosen the drawstring, squeeze open the claw-clip, and remove it gently from the netting.
  2. Put your hair up into a compact bun.
  3. Place the ponytail over your bun, insert the cones, then tighten the drawstring.
  4. Conceal the drawstring at the base of the ponytail.

Care instructions

To keep your ponytail looking its best,
follow these simple care instructions.

  1. Remove your ponytail and gently brush through. Fill a sink with lukewarm water and submerge the ponytail into the sink, keeping hold of the top section.
  2. Apply a mild shampoo to the ponytail and gently work this in, ensuring all of the hair is clean. Rinse under the tap to remove the shampoo, then use a deep conditioner to hydrate the hair.
  3. Softly massage the conditioner in and leave for 2-3 minutes. Comb through the ponytail and rinse off the conditioner. Gently towel dry to remove excess water and leave to dry naturally.
  • Do: Heated styling tools are safe to maintain the original style up to 180°C
  • Don't: The original style of the hair cannot be changed.
  • Don't: Avoid using a hair dryer on Stranded Heat Resistant Hair.

Absolutely love this pony! It's a good length for daily use, I use this one a lot for work. Being strawberry blonde it is SO difficult finding a colour match anywhere, but honeysuckle from Stranded is perfect! The pony itself is great quality and looks real. My hair is so short after starting medication that when I try to put it in a pony it never looks how I’d like and so I used to always tie it up into a clawclip/bun as that was the only way to make it look okay. Now, I’m wearing my clip in pony ALL THE TIME! I even went and bought it in the 24” in store as I now feel so good about having my hair up and slicked back. Thank you for giving me my confidence again!!! The colour match IS INSANE!!!! Like it even has the streaks of auburn in it that my natural hair has. UNREAL.

Bought this for cheer to avoid my daughter needing to backcomb her hair for competitions and it has been great! Best to remove the crocodile clip it comes on if you’re also using for cheer (or anything energetic). The little combs and drawstring make it easy to attach around a bun, but for extra peace of mind we used zip ties too! We used the colour match service and despite doubting their advice and ordering samples, they were spot on!
