How to fit Clip-In Mum Bun
Achieve instant volume and an effortless finish in under two minutes. Follow these five quick steps to fit and secure your bun extension for all-day wear.
Drawstring attachment
- Tie a Tight Bun: Secure your natural hair into a small, firm bun at your desired height.
- Insert the Combs: Place the piece over your bun and slide the top and bottom combs firmly into the base.
- Pull and Lock: Pull the drawstring snug, slide the toggle to lock, and tuck the excess cord underneath.
- Wrap the Outer Strand: Wind the loose hair section around the base to hide the band and toggle.
- Pin and Secure: Anchor the wrapped hair with a few bobby pins for an all-day hold.
Care instructions
To keep your bun looking its best,
follow these simple care instructions.
- Remove your bun and gently brush through. Fill a sink with lukewarm water and submerge the bun into the sink, keeping hold of the top section.
- Apply a mild shampoo to the bun and gently work this in, ensuring all of the hair is clean. Rinse under the tap to remove the shampoo, then use a deep conditioner to hydrate the hair.
- Softly massage the conditioner in and leave for 2-3 minutes. Comb through the bun and rinse off the conditioner. Gently towel dry to remove excess water and leave to dry naturally.
- Do: Heated styling tools are safe to maintain the original style up to 180°C
- Don't: The original style of the hair cannot be changed.
- Don't: Avoid using a hair dryer on Stranded Heat Resistant Hair.

Beautiful hair piece and exact colour match from sending in a photo. It didn’t budge all day/evening on a hen do and I got so many compliments. The only issue I did have was all the short hairs near to the fasteners, I don’t understand why they were visible/reason for them even being there which is why I’m only giving 4*. As you can see in the 3rd and 4th photo, it was hard to hide with how I did my bun and was all around the pony.
Bought the wrong shade, my fault. Going to order another one. Gave my wrong shade to a friend and she loves it so much. Game changer for 5am working babes.

I keep changing toners so I’ve tried lots of different blondes I mix between 3 I think my hair is close to polar star now so need to try that next but prices are affordable wen needing to try different blondes
Absolutely love the mum buns! I have purchased so many over time, in my natural shade and also a lighter shade so it gives an ombre effect! I get so many compliments when I wear them. I often dont wrap the bun and it leaves a bouncy pony which isn't too heavy for my fine hair, like others I have tried. Will always be my go to for a super quick hairstyle.

The colour match service chose a perfect match. The piece was bought for a wedding. One picture is before the hairpiece was fitted and then after. Everyone said they couldn’t tell it wasn’t my real hair because the colouring was so good. The hairdresser fitted it, so I don’t know how easy it was, but she mentioned that the hairpiece was well made and good quality.
I love this, quick and easy for when you are having a bad hair day. I will order in a different shade as with having my hair coloured it does change over the weeks. I have a few different hair pieces to accommodate this. Won't use anyone else for my hair extensions now, 5*
